Higher up leadership tends to be stuck in their ways are are very resistant to changes that they are not familiar with. Instead of trying to interact with those pushing the changes and learn about why they are needed, they will resist until they sat down and informed.

Sometimes you get to leave the office and drive a company truck

Very limited training and the expectation is you must be perfect. If you aren’t expert level prepare for everybody to talk about you and every mistake you’ve ever made.
