You have great visibility from upper management and networking is pretty easy. If you plan to climb the corporate ladder, Flowserve is a decent place to start,

Not flexible with salaried employees hours No recognition for hard work or positive results Distrust between departments Broken processes that management refuses to chance

Cons

Difficulty working in silos across facilities due to systems being different and not integrated into common system upon mergers.

A lot of good people working here.

Cons

Outsourcing too much design work to India and running with too little design and engineering staff in Kalamazoo. Quality is really suffering at the expense of speed. Nexus is a really poor PLM system. It has hurt productivity significantly and caused employees immense frustration.
