Pros
-Even though the majority of the team is remote, the company does an amazing job with cross-team collaboration and making it feel like you're not alone! You have multiple opportunities to get to know the members on your own team, people in different departments, and even high level execs. -Everyone is working towards the same goal, so everyone is aligned and willing to put in the work to help every person in every department achieve their goals. -The company really has a "people-first" mentality and you do feel truly valued as a contributor. You never feel like a "hamster on a wheel" and can trust leadership and management. -Tons of growth opportunities. You definitely will have the opportunity to move up the ladder, explore other career routes, and grow and thrive along with the company. -Transparency is key! Flowspace and upper management does a great job of keeping the employees in the loop on visions for the future and taking into consideration the voices of all team members.
Cons
Not necessarily cons for some people: -Things move really fast, and things change. If you're familiar with startups and appreciate a fast-paced environment, this company is for you. For someone who's more used to corporate culture and set processes, it might be difficult to adapt to the changes. -As with any start up, this is a learn-as-you-go and try new things environment. Sometimes this can feel less structured, but it allows for the opportunity for you to grow as an individual and have your voice be heard. You might be the one creating new processes, and mistakes can be made, but you have a really strong support system behind you to guide you along the way.
