Pros
I made some very good friends at Fluid and learned a lot. There are times where the management can be compassionate and helpful in your career.
Cons
When brought on as a new employee to Fluid you see a company focused on culture, work life balance, and a "passion for growth". This is what Fluid aspires to be, but it has a long way to go.
This is a highly patriarchal environment that does not promote diversity. The staff may be diverse however it does not translate into the company culture. Unconscious bias relating to race and gender is the biggest problem I saw during my time at Fluid. When problems were brought to upper management they were ignored or "changes" would be made, that did not fix the problem or prevent it from happening again. The hardest working employees are not valued, and the gregarious problem causing employees are held with kid gloves. Overall, it is a toxic environment from a social standpoint.
Employees are paid well under the industry standard, likely due to #1 poor business practices that affect revenue #2 salaries based on race and gender. This is not an EOE.
PTO/Sick time/ Paternity leave is extremely lacking. Employees are under a scrutinizing eye when they come in and leave, leading to resentment and demotivation.
Turnover is very high due to all of these reasons.
