Pros
There’s a true sense of teamwork here. Everyone helps each other out sometimes without even being asked and always without hesitation. It’s by far the most supportive environment from fellow colleagues I've ever experienced. The newfound dedication to our well-being and being transparent really stands out in the past year. We had mental health day support that went beyond just the typical day everyone celebrates. I just have a feeling that I'm genuinely cared for as a person, not just an employee. Our insurance/benefits are well beyond market standard and make it worth while when the pay isn't always the top. It's great that we get credits for lunches and our snack game in the office is unmatched!
Cons
Salaries should be more competitive and equal not just willing to spend depending on what team you are on. While the CEO’s intentions are good, he is very indecisive and hard to follow making it hard to feel confident at times. He also has too much focus on the academic world versus what we are doing or experience people can bring. Although it’s improving, I’d love to see more trust placed in the leaders who are already in place because everyone has been growing confidence in the company because of them. The company also needs to have a more flexible stance on in-office requirements to be more competitive, or people will start to leave.
