Pros

Honestly, the pay is decent in the industry.

Cons

Every single thing is bad here. The environment is not transport-friendly and it's bothersome to go out for meals. Not to mention the utter lack of professionalism by the CEO, coupled with his poor comprehension and language skills make it a nightmare to work here. Should have turned back when I encountered incredibly unprofessional questions during the interview, and I regret my time there. Micro-management is a huge problem, like why on Earth will a CEO be fussing over everything you do. Lack of clear instructions and the fact that this company doesn't have a direction in mind makes this an utterly horrible company to work at. It was absolutely miserable to work there, and the CEO is the main reason for the horrible company culture.

Pros

I have been working here for a year and it has been an incredibly experience. The company has a supportive and collaborative culture where people are encouraged to speak up and share ideas. I work closely with the CEO who is sharp and approachable. He always taking his time to guide and mentor the team, helping us to develop our strengths and grow professionally. While the pace can be fast at times, the environment is postivr and motivating. I truly value the chance to work with him.

Cons

No major cons, overall a positive experience :)

Pros

As a person, CEO is generally nice.

Cons

Discussing anything related to business, it's a nightmare. 1. He's a person resistant to change, and when you attempt to convey your ideas to him, he isn't the kind of person to take them into consideration (and his ideas can be really bad). Consistent experience through several former employees. He wants his nose in every project when he doesn't have the time to afford to. 2. Inefficient working style. When he expresses interest to venture into a new project and requires help for work to do, he gives vague instructions on what he wants, with little regard for further discussion(s)/idea development at that point of time, expecting employees to start getting work done. And of course, when work is done for him, unsurprisingly, it is unsatisfactory based on what he wants (again refer to point 1) and it's on us employees. Considering how one would think is best and working based off it is hardly what he wants something to be (again because his ideas are so bad), we can take a couple of days to a week to finish a task that can easily be done in 1/3 of the time, if he is willing to go through a proper discussion in the initial stages. 3. A large portion of his time everyday is used to handle everyday operations. His other business projects cannot progress because he does not have the time to settle anything. Again, results in point 2. And point 1 is probably why he doesn't have a manager to help him.
