Business outlook
Pros
Incredible compensation for an out of college student. Managers are easy to approach and listen to feedback and the work was great. There are a lot of opportunities for own initiative because of the small tech team. Outside of specific projects, was able to work on whatever you thought was most needed.
Cons
IT is also tech support, which can lead to some conflicts of interest when you need to rush something out of the door and users come asking for email support. Some assignments were incredibly boring, but at least management seemed to realize this. Not many opportunities for growth (inside IT) because of the small team, but a nice place to work for a while.
