Pros

-Remote work is possible for some of us

Cons

-Very passive-aggressive micromanagement -Commissions never paid on time (always months late) -Need reimbursement for work expenses? Good luck getting it in a timely manner -I know it's a startup, but cost cutting in ways that are unprofessional (ie. having to share a hotel room with coworkers on work trips) -Will back track on things they have promised in the job description

Pros

Team overall is very kind and nice, everyone helps each other and everyone makes an effort to really get to know each other. Product and work is cool and different and you do really feel like you're helping people. You can get good experience here working across different areas but not much space for any kind of mobility to fully transition.

Cons

Accept a position but expect to receive the responsibilities of 4 different jobs. Pay increases are almost unheard of. Are not that receptive to negative leaning constructive feedback. The leadership team has a culture of always being on and working, DMs well into the evening about work related tasks. If this is the approach that leadership takes on a regular basis it creates an atmosphere of expectation that other employees follow this schedule and it really affects mentality around work/life balance. Some internal processes are a bit backwards. Little recognition for achievements from senior leadership. Maybe a mention of something being noticed but thats about it. There can be levels of micromanagement in some instances and some teams get more freedom than others. It seems like each member of the leadership team leads very differently - there should be a standard put in place. Important updates aren't always communicated.
