Foods Connected holds two promotion cycles per year to provide lots of opportunity for employees to progress based on their performance. If a colleague would like additional support regarding the promotion process or their promotion case, they are encouraged to reach out to their line manager or HR team to discuss. As we grow our presence globally and across new markets, it is natural that we not only support internal promotions, of which there have been many examples of team members growing into team leadership and product leadership roles. It is inevitable that we must bring in outside experience to supplement this growth. We have always been transparent around expectations for promotions and support this with a flexible approach to Learning & Development requests. In 2024 with an increased investment in the L&D space we will see this continue to improve across all teams which in turn will support greater career and personal development opportunities for our team members.
We take pride in the enhanced maternity and paternity policies we have in place. We are proud to be one of the most flexible employers , in our approach to welcoming back team members from parental leave, as a result of permitting a gradual, flexible part time schedule which can be reviewed on a rolling basis to suit balancing work and parental responsibilities. This is evidenced by remote working as well as part time schedule arrangements to suit new or returning parents. We will continue to educate our team at all levels on matters of diversity and inclusion as well as styles of communication.
