Pros
- UK head office is actually quite good, but they're unable to control the AU head office and decisions are kept from them - The generation sites, overseen by Grant are incredible. The culture is great, people genuine and I absolutely loved working with the assets and site teams. Truly enriching working with people who are all striving for best practice and working with assets impacting our every day lives. - Site team employees always willing to educate and give a hand
Cons
- Head of HR, Natalie rarely does what's best for the employees. Takes control from those who should be in control, eg line managers. - Head office is very corporate and hierarchy is inefficient - Staff that should be included in certain meetings are excluded, even when the meetings agenda isn't confidential - Poor communication about changes being made - Bonus' are huge for top execs and people working hard down the line might be awarded a bonus, depending on tenure, rather than quality of work - Directors frequently ignore emails - Feedback given by those who have left was ignored and the communication of said feedback was fabricated - Purpouseful lack of transparency - There was once a serious life-threatening issue on one of the generation sites and head office didn't reach out - One of the generation sites had been completely flooded with access cut off and HR sent an email out to the team one week after the fact
