      Pros

      I worked as a full-time theme developer there. There are LOTS of learning opportunities here as you will get to work on many different projects. Projects are not assigned to specific developers and maintenance work on websites are shared amongst all developers so you get to learn from others' code. Everyone I've worked with here was very helpful and the senior developer who was here taught me so much, which allowed me to work more efficiently. There are team events and/or lunches, which was a great way to bond with the team since we were working remotely.

      Cons

      There was no UI/UX team or designers in person to collaborate with. It was hard to assume how the elements flowed from one page to another and how content was to be created. Much of this was left to assumption, which led to doing double work on certain aspects of the projects because once something was developed, it wasn't the way the designers had envisioned it.

      Thank you for leaving this review, taking the opportunity to improve our work place and how we set up our team for success is valuable. I can say, that in the past 6 months, we've made significant strides in improving documentation, functional requirements and design expectations, ensuring our development team is set up to produce high quality sites with less reworking. We will continue to prioritize these systems going forward, with new initiatives being implemented this Spring.

      Pros

      The people are very friendly and easy to work with, culture, 100% remote work, 4 days work week, flexibility, profit sharing 2x a year, great extended heath insurance, $250 wellness amount a year to be spent on a lot of options, great leadership team, a lot of transparency including in the pay scale structure. Very friendly towards junior, a lot of room to develop skills. Definitely a hard combo to come by, I genuinely had an amazing experience at Forge.

      Cons

      Since the company is not very big, perhaps room for growth could potentially be an issue if you intend to be in a leadership role eventually. Mainly WordPress work if you're in development.

      -Cool and professional people to work with. -Have all the resources given out to you so you can perform well on tasks and deliverables. -Transparent and Approachable CEO -Helpful Managers that cares a lot in your growth in the company
