Pros

-Decent pension plan -Free parking -Standing desks -Modern building

Cons

-The middle managers in the the 'Technical and Trades Training' department (Instructional Design) in the Surrey office lack integrity, maturity, work ethic, management skills, and basic common sense. -The middle managers act in a deceitful manner and abuse the little power they have to back-stab, misrepresent, and lie about their own staff. -Incompetent middle managers create a toxic environment by playing favorites, engaging in dirty politics, and promoting unqualified friends. -Too many big egos with shallow, insecure brains prevent FortisBC from growing as a company.

Pros

Ok starting pay, benefits, good management, and was treated very well

Cons

Not really a con, it can be hard work and a lot of it too! Never experienced anything bad here. The pay could be a little bit better though

Pros

Opportunity for growth and career advancement. Good benefits for long term employees. Team collaboration encouraged

Cons

Managers seldomly held accountable for their own bad performance as team leaders. Union employees seem reluctant to advance job skills beyond their original skillset that got them their job 20 years ago and stick to their job description. Not good team players to drive success.
