Pros
Great experience to learn and grow in accounting knowledge. The job looks good on your resume when applying for future roles. Coworkers are friendly and professional.
Cons
Long hours even when it's not busy season. Seniors and staff are out in the field with very little guidance and direction. Managers show up to client site for half a day and leave. Performance reviews are conducted by your peers and then the partners and managers have a private meeting to discuss if you should get a raise or promotion. Your career coach represents you at that meeting, but it's unclear if they actually go to bat for you, so you never get to directly make your case for your own promotion or raise. You never get to see what upper management really things about you. Seniors and managers give only negative feedback, never positive. Promises were made to me during my interview that the company did not follow through with.
