The lower to mid level employees themselves were very bright. CEO sounds like he's trying.
Cons
Reactive(as opposed to proactive) environment, knee-jerk reactions rule the company. Company has grown significantly in the past few years to over 4k employees, but management has not evolved with growth and still wants to run the operation like a startup. Stuck in survival mode. Employees not given the time or resources to perform tasks. Org structure and future org plan are awful. Succession planning is nonexistent. Employee development and training is non nonexistent. Independent thinking discouraged. Compensation is nebulous. Performance expectations are nonexistent. Sexual harassment is not addressed. My personal role was not as described. I could go on...
