Pros

Working here has been a genuinely positive experience for me. The mission is something I actually believe in, and it’s nice to feel like the work matters. I’m generally surrounded by really smart, capable people who care about what they’re doing, and that pushes me to level up in a good way. The culture is very results-driven, not in a cutthroat sense, but in a lets get it done way. Plus, the office is honestly an amazing place to work from. It’s a space that feels inspiring.

Cons

If I could change one thing, it would be the way priorities sometimes shift. Things can move around quickly, and once in a while that means you’re halfway through something and the target changes. I can see both sides of it: the flexibility is part of what makes the company strong and able to jump on opportunities fast, but it can also create some whiplash for teams trying to plan and execute.

Pros

I’ve experienced a high level of ownership and autonomy in my role, supported by fast decision-making and direct access to leadership. The company offers meaningful opportunities to build partnerships with top-tier brands and work alongside a smart, motivated, entrepreneurial team. My work has had a tangible impact on both company growth and the overall member experience. Over the last few months, my role has expanded significantly into a dynamic, high-impact function, and I’ve been given the support needed to continue building out meaningful initiatives that drive company growth.

Cons

Some teams can occasionally focus on lower-impact projects instead of the highest-value initiatives, and there’s room for more consistent long-term strategic planning, though this is actively improving. The culture is still developing, particularly since the New York team is only about a year and a half old. There can also can be a lack of transparency when things don’t work out with an employee, and the organization is still working toward more structured feedback processes.

Pros

* The work itself was relatively easy and straightforward. * Members were generally pleasant to work with. * Coworkers were supportive and made the day-to-day environment enjoyable. * Good opportunity to gain experience in concierge and member services.

Cons

* Significant micromanagement and a lack of trust in employees. * Very little flexibility despite positions being salaried. Employees were expected to work a strict 9–6 schedule, and any missed time often had to be made up. For example, if a doctor's appointment caused a lunch break to run 10 minutes long, employees were expected to stay late to make up the time. * Leadership often felt disconnected from the realities of the day-to-day work. * Limited opportunities for career growth and advancement. * The company appeared focused on keeping costs low rather than investing in employees, compensation, benefits, and long-term development. * High turnover and morale challenges created instability across teams. * Decisions from leadership could be inconsistent, resulting in shifting priorities and unnecessary frustration.
