Cons
I'm not one to burn bridges, but this company was a demoralizing place to work. I haven't been there for a couple of years, but reading current reviews lets me know that many of the problems haven't changed. The so called "elite" customer base was really made up of anyone who was willing to pony up the hundreds of dollars a year for the membership. Despite claiming to cater to the members, refunds were rarely if ever issued, even if the member was requesting a refund within 24 hours. These were our customers and we were rarely empowered to go above and beyond to make their experience pleasant. There was an odd loophole where their membership automatically renewed every year and if they logged in to their membership after the renewal (many did, out of confusion and to check to see if their membership was indeed still active) then they could not ask for a refund because they had "used" the membership. This created hostility and tension between the employees and the irate members that would call in regularly. Things took a turn for the worse when new management (with only call center experience) was brought in and subsequently fired all of the team that had been there for years. The culture plummeted and those who had been passionate starters from the get-go were simply "not on board enough".
