Pros

The money was decent & if you had to make it into work when the weather was bad they would always make sure you were fed whether a breakfast or lunch

Cons

There was a fair amount of pressure to try & have their customers pay their amount that was owing. This, of course, does make sense, the only thing is when you are dealing with customers in, say, Louisana, where they are always having deadly floods & equipment that can't be returned. They tell us we have to show empathy & when I do this, or what I think is empathy, they tell me I am not being empathetic enough. So, in some ways you can't win.

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
