Pros

- Was an awesome company I worked with for 10 years (Sykes) - Most of the people, specially in the learning and development team are awesome! - Very Inclusive - Good and fair incentive schemes

Cons

- After being acquired by Sitel, most of the awesome senior leaders left the company since the company values shifted drastically - Does not focus on people development and mainly prioritize profits in the expense of making employees miserable - Well deserved promotions have been put on hold for a year so a lot of employees in leadership and even management roles are not being payed fairly for their work

Pros

Some level of job security. You know exactly what you're doing because it's a call center. Different client projects that you could apply to be part of. Located in Orem by the mall. Decent pay ($25 an hour... for now).

Cons

You can't have anything on the call floor depending on the client (I support Intuit, so there are no phones, paper, pencils, books... nothing). The benefits are atrocious. PTO doesn't start until after 6 months. Company politics and favorites exist here. I'd say about 30% of calls get transferred to us from other departments (Payroll, Payments, Desktop, Saves, Sales, pretty much everyone) that should not have been transferred and could have been solved without us. They're going to hire more account resolution specialists soon after so many agents left, and they're starting their pay at $20 an hour.... so just think about what means for us. You get one occurrence per day you are absent even if you call in sick. I think 10 is the limit.
