Pros
I have worked with Fourlane for a little over 6 months. During this time I have had a wonderful experience with upper management , various individual teams, and one on one interactions with the staff. The mass collective are very friendly, forward thinkers. This company is "laid back" but has goals and pushes for them, following the EOS system. While the EOS system was a little hard for me to adopt after first, there are aspects that make since and I see why Fourlane is functioning in such a positive way. As per management, while I personally have had small amounts of involment with the CEO (Marjory Adams). She has always be open to ideas and feedback that I have provided. Wether that is options on how to complete a project or feedback provided about persons within the company. Every Monday we have a meeting where she give call outs to success of individuals and completion of projects. I truly appricate that there is time taken out of someone who is running the business to recongnize those who have helped contribute to its success. Lastly, I would like to speak about the CFO (Cynthia Hemingway). I have worked much closer with her during my time at Fourlane and have had a multitude of interactions. Cynthia is one of the few people I have met in business who truly cares about those around her. She has taken time to skip/miss meetings to make sure that we can speak with each other on topics I deemed important. She is increadbly smart, and has a great understanding of business and how the EOS system works. While there have been times that we have had a lively debate on a process or procedure, she has never made me feel like I cannot be my authenic self, and speak candidly. She does not let the fact that she is CFO of Fourlane get in the way of letting those around her speak their minds and have true open conversations about how things work or what can make the company better. This can make her appear a little rough around the edges at time, but it comes from a place of helping the business move forward and never from ego. While my time has been shorter than I wished it could have been with Fourlane. It is people like Cynthia that has given me drive to do well in my career.
Cons
One aspect that the company has continued to attempt to work on, is communication between teams. At the end of the day this is still a small company and processes are ever changing. While there are many forms of communication about changes within the company it can sometimes be missed by some and ultimately lead to some people performing a process one way and another a different.
