Pros
As long as duties are complete, you can head out for the day. Very hands on and easy starting management job. Most people very reasonable, especially those hired through Fox Pools. Lifeguards are expected to do most cleaning and checkups while you manage the pump and make sure the guard does their job.
Cons
6 day weeks, the first 3-4 weeks is working every day in hot summer, you have to lifeguard often near the end of the season as college students go back to college, some pools are much more strict than other pools
