Pros

The nature of the work allows you to work independently and the work is interesting.

Cons

While it was supposed to be full-time employment 40 hours was not guaranteed if you did not receive the assignments. If you fell below 30 hours you might have to pay for your health insurance that week and it was no fault of your own. Payment was only made on the basis of billing. You did not get paid until your handling on the file was complete. There was definitely incentive to close out the file, but then the pay was always irregular. You would kill yourself one week 60+ hours (no OT paid) and you might not have enough work the next week... very stressful and erratic. No sense of security. Trying to track your pay was a nightmare. Don't forget that you don't get paid to turn in your timesheets. Figure 1 hour every week for the paperwork and it's unpaid.... The highest paid investigator earns $25 hrly, but bills at 3x + the rate. There are no regularly scheduled performance reviews or salary reviews. You have to beg for a review and if you get a raise it won't be in $, but change... The company used to be family owned. They still operate as if they were. Think nepotism and favoritism. Most investigators do not have a claims background, but yet call themselves "claims investigators". Have seen reports of others and am sad for the client. Am surprised that there aren't more reviews for this company because they have such a high turnover. I am somewhat skeptical about the authenticity of one of the reviews and believe it was written by a management person. Yes, you know the review I am talking about... Longevity of employment does not necessarily mean that it's a great company, it very well may mean that the employee has no motivation and is not qualified to go elsewhere.

Pros

• Company culture is top notch! Frasco has core values that are instituted in everything that they do creating a great working culture for employees • Excellent work-life balance & flexibility with employees • Management communication is consistent and concise. I always feel up to date with changes or performance feedback • Career growth opportunities • Performance based merit increases. If you put in the hard work and effort, you are recognized by both HR and your manager

Cons

Honestly, none that I can think of at this time. This is a growing organization and with that comes necessary changes which can sometimes be challenging. Frasco does a great job as an organization in communicating updates with employees so that we are informed as changes are made. I also feel as though Frasco leadership is always open to hearing from team members and providing appropriate solutions based on individual needs.
