I worked at Free Play for years and it was the best job I've ever had. If working at the arcade paid as much as being a civil engineer, I would go back right now.

There is lots of independence that can feel overwhelming at times.

There's really not any pro's to working here except that you might get paid.

My last day was a 10 hour shift and I was only paid for 3.5 hours. I quit with a two-week notice and Kelsie (owner) sent an company wide email to the GM's saying I was fired, so there goes that reference. After 4 months of a promised $1 dollar raise, I was told I had to take another review for the dollar, something I had already passed. From $14 to $15. Don't take their word unless it's in writing. And it's been proven that the owners are OK with sexual harassment towards their female staff.
