Pros

Very flexible remote work policy across Canada. Excellent health benefits with no cost to employees. Cozy office in Calgary for those who prefer or need to work on-site. No micromanagement; regular 1-1 meetings and performance reviews. Willingness to invest in employee training and certifications. Highly professional team that creates complex solutions.

Cons

Remote work can sometimes feel isolating. Lack of comprehensive documentation for solutions, leading to time-consuming information gathering.

Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed review and giving us feedback that we can work on. We acknowledge the cons of remote work and will work to create more structured support mechanisms for remote team members and look to improve engagement with remote employees.

Pros

I learned a lot about UX design and product review in excel. I was able to present my findings at team meetings and incorporate others' feedback.

Cons

The internship was remote, and it would have been nice to interact with people in person. However, that would have been very expensive and difficult as many employees live in different areas.

We were glad to have you intern with us and we completely agree, an in person internship would have definitely benefited all of us. This is something we will take into account as we plan for future internships. We'd love to have you back next term.

Pros

Very professional and there is a strong sense of community. Team collaboration is priority amongst all teams. Work is properly and adequately scheduled. PTO-Time off is not interrupted by any of the management Team, once you are off, you are off. SCRUM meetings are loads of fun with lots of dad jokes. FrequencyFoundry is definitely a good place to work and grow career wise. There is also a healthy learning curve for new intakes and learning is adequately provided. In Frequency, management is open to new opportunities and also more open to new ideas. Very often, the focus is on rapid growth and that makes it exciting to work there as well as being rewarding. Work roles are also less specialized and that means you can wear several hats and interact more with Team members.

Cons

Cons - Being a small organization, salaries are not comparable to larger companies and there is a lack of bonuses. Other perks like Insurance are also not comparable to other bigger companies.

I hugely appreciate your review and the way you've taken the time to point the pros and cons of Foundry. I love your true characterization of community and collaboration. We truly believe in ensuring that the culture is one that enables your growth and learning. We have heard your input on the benefits and starting October 1st our benefits package has been significantly enhanced. Regarding bonuses and salaries, we have designed our salary packages to align with your growth. As an organization that doesn't believe in annual only salary raises, we believe in letting you be in control of salary increase since it is based on your own personal growth and accomplishments. That said I will take your feedback and work with the management team to see how ew can better our compensation to be able to retain our valuable talent such as yourself. Sincerely, Shekar
