Pros
Always get 5 days of work
Cons
Managers are incredibly rude, there is no one to talk when you have questions, want to request off, etc They tell you in the beginning you have a route (ie - Bronx) but every day you get sent anywhere BUT your route you were given. Some days have to wait up to FIVE hours to get your route, causing mandatory overtime no matter what. You have no choice. They give you “helpers” or make you train new hires even when you are not a trainee, they don’t pay you extra for this even when actual trainees get $1 more. At New Hire Training, they make it sound like they care about the quality of the trucks and safety but once you start driving you realize quick that is all a show. The trucks I’m given are dirty (I bring my own cleaning supplies) and often have issues, check engine lights, etc. There’s many other grocery delivery companies to work for - don’t fall for this one. They sell you a dream.
