Pros
Five years into my career, having joined Freya Rose straight out of university, I can genuinely say the journey has far surpassed anything I could have imagined. Being part of a female-founded, led and run business has been both empowering and inspiring. When I started, we were a small but mighty team of two – now we’re a dynamic group of six and still growing, fuelled by shared passion and purpose.
The opportunities I’ve had here have been extraordinary – from attending British Fashion Council events to representing the brand internationally in Paris, South Korea, New York and beyond. These are moments I’ll carry with me always.
But beyond the career milestones, it’s the people that make this place exceptional. I’ve worked alongside incredibly talented, supportive and passionate women who are as beautiful inside as they are out. Freya Rose isn’t just a brand – it’s a creative force and a place where growth is not only encouraged but truly championed.
Cons
As with any small and growing business, success here requires a flexible, well-rounded and proactive mindset. The pace can be fast, and roles are often diverse – one day you might be deep in strategy, the next, hands-on with the finer details. It’s an environment that asks for adaptability, initiative and a genuine passion for the brand’s vision.
If you’re looking for rigid structure or narrowly defined roles, this may not be the right fit. But if you thrive on variety, responsibility and being part of something evolving and exciting – this is an incredibly rewarding place to grow.
