A lot of the management is inexperienced and lacking in the soft skills front. HEAVY SURVELLIANCE. It's pretty clear that they do not trust their own employees. You are basically juggling responsibilities that in other companies would be separate positions. Inbound shipments come in seemingly at random times and with the lack of communication, it is hard to predict what one's responsibilities would be for the day. On busy days, put away spanned both shifts and sometimes late into the night. I felt guilty for neglecting my put away duties, but I can't pick orders and put away at the same time. Especially when orders are dropping back to back. SO. MUCH. FOOD. WASTE.
