They don't have the funding or infrastructure they need to take care of their employees well. There is no staff development, particularly for management. Management frequently offers criticism without providing further direction on how to improve. Very old-school style management where trust must be earned. The agency overall struggles to change and adapt. No job security, especially when the agency is financially strained. They will take your self rating on a scale of 1-5 more seriously than your resume so be weary of how you rate yourself. It has typical drawbacks of a small agency with little room for growth.
