Pay scale doesn't add up, little respect for time off - RSR Route Sales Representative Frito-Lay Employee Review

Pros

Job is relatively easy once you get the hang of it

Cons

Pay scale is absolutely insane, I do not know how it's legal. Overtime is about $8/hr and if you don't hit sales (which Frito purposefully makes impossible) you take a pay cut. Although the job posting says the pay is 64,000 a year gross, the real gross pay is around $52,000.

Pros

No boss breathing down your back all day.

Cons

No control over force outs. Management forces out product to the market that may not necessarily be needed or fit in the stores. Always have to sell more than the previous year to keep up with sales goals.
