Pros
if you have your own savings or support from someone else in your life this can be a great way to travel for cheaper
Cons
you don't get to choose your placement and a lot of the cities (for example Monteria) are not nearly as fun as the cities Fulbright markets placements. They then recommend you travel to other cities, but do not give you nearly enough money for that. You have to budget pretty aggressively in a lot of the cities and Fulbright does not even cover costs like your cedula.
