      Pros

      Good exposure to the design and construction process for office build outs.

      Cons

      Terrible management and a negative work environment has lead to the companies inability to keep talented and experienced designers. They are rude, condescending and disrespectful. Do not expect to get praise or recognition for awards and achievements at Fusion - the owner believes in "breaking people down" instead of building them up.

      We appreciate the feedback - but are very surprised and disappointed at your review. At Fusion we strive to create a positive and collaborative team environment. We expect everyone to be respectful to every single employee - that includes the principals down to the most junior designer. We have several processes in place to provide praise, recognition, acknowledgement, promotions and bonuses. If we were aware of your negative perspective, we would certainly have tried to ameliorate the situation and solve any issues causing the negativity.

      Pros

      Small firm that enables you to take ownership over a lot.

      Cons

      Staff is generally not familiar with workflow and best processes that you find at larger firms, and much of the staff has not come up through large firm environments so it can be a little make shift at times. In short, this can leave the production staff to lean in less and provide proper well drawn-out documentation that will help elevate project design and execution, which entail leads to better work and the bringing in of new and better/diverse business.
