I’m sharing this experience not to defame anyone, but to raise awareness and seek fair resolution. I genuinely hope this helps others who may be going through something similar. I completed my full notice period at this company and fulfilled all assigned responsibilities. However, when I raised a simple question about the sudden extension of my notice period, I was threatened by the CEO — he said he would ask HR to file a harassment complaint against me. That moment made me realize how things were being turned against me. Just days before my exit, the company suddenly claimed I was a “security threat” and relieved me forcefully, without any proper explanation — despite having finished all my tasks professionally. After leaving, they withheld two months of my salary and never issued my relieving documents. When I followed up, instead of support, I was shown an fabricated agreement after my resignation. Here are the steps I’ve taken so far: Filed a police complaint on April 19 Submitted a formal complaint to the Labour Commissioner on April 21 (who acted on it by May 5) Currently pursuing the case through the Assistant Commissioner of Labour (ACL), but the company hasn’t attended multiple hearings. While I don’t have the financial resources for a forensic test, I am confident that if the so-called agreement is examined properly, it will prove to be fake. This situation has been mentally and emotionally draining. I was threatened, insulted in front of others, and denied my rightful dues. I’m not writing this out of anger — I just want what I earned and what I deserve: my salary and my relieving letter. If you are considering joining this company, please do your research thoroughly. Try to speak with ex-employees, not just HR. And if you're going through something similar, know that you are not alone.
