Pros

I will say this was one of the most testing and challenging position to be 100% commission, strictly door to door sales, so it truly teaches you to work for your money and trains you for a hardworking environment.

Cons

With that being said, the job itself was challenging in the most negative ways as well. Through whatever weather condition, you were knocking on doors. The truth of the business was not delivered at all. It is a red flag if you hop onto calls as group interviews. When they tell you to hit every milestone and then they will front you the money to open your own store, it’s almost impossible to do so. Not to mention they want you to believe that this tactic will get you out of the field and promote you from the door to door sales environment but that will never stop. Because the turnover rate is so high, the staff percentage drops immensely, as do sales. It is a very suspicious and sneaky way of leading, managing, manipulating the people that work in this specific industry. It is a pyramid scheme and the many offices across the US that has this style of business operates the same. Towards the end of my employment there, it was obvious I was getting burnt out. My coworker and I were very overwhelmed and quite frankly were catching on to the “scam” of the company. Instead of sending us to the apartment complexes that we were absolutely soliciting at as a group with other sales reps, they sent us out in the field by ourselves so we don’t negatively impact the rest of the employees by telling them the truth of the business.
