Pros
Friendly & collaborative work environment where you are able to work with other teams fairly easily. Upper Management is usually open to conversations and is good about communication regarding the company, especially during these hard economic times.
Cons
While Upper Management is open to conversations very little happens from the comments. While we are a small & supposedly agile company very little changes here as it seems like the company has parked itself in a wait and see mentality after the mass layoffs last year and now COVID. The processes are old and antiquated and most of the times barely sufficient for what we are trying to do. While there have been a few advances with the product recently its hardly enough to keep up with the vendors focusing on the SMB market instead of where we want to focus in on the enterprise customers. Admittedly there were many hiccups that are attributed to the past management but the current management lacks the vision to get the product & teams to truly be competitive in this new landscape. It honestly feels like everyone at the top has tasted defeat and is just resigned to stay there.
