Pros
GE Healthcare is a large, stable company with a wonderful product and service portfolio. Networking opportunities abound as you work with local teams as well as collaborate on a nationwide scale. Also, it is clear what you must do in order to advance in your career, and the opportunities are there, especially if you are willing to move. The benefits are good, and a wide range of benefits are available beyond health insurance and 401(k).
Cons
As a large company, it is quite possible that GE Healthcare might divest any division that is under-performing in its view. This is possible with any company and should be included in your long-term career planning. Some companies have a better bonus scheme.
