Pros
- Great place to trauma bond with your colleagues. - The high turnover means you have a chance to end up getting a promotion if you suck it up for long enough. - Good office location. - Pizza Friday. - Hybrid work. - Work from abroad.
Cons
- Very low pay for the industry. - Holiday allowance is not competitive at all: only 21 days and they will deduce the Christmas break. - You are only allowed 5 sick days (is that even legal?). - Long work hours: 9 to 6pm (which is more than painful when you read my next point). No flexible hours (although it is advertised it is always refused when requested). - Went through some pretty tragic events and had to use my days off, emergency leave wasn’t even offered to me. - Massive distrust of employees from management and HR: breaks and lunchtime are timed (2x15 minutes and 1h lunch break). Now that I work elsewhere it feels so aberrant to even think that was the case. - I saw in HR responses that everyone gets a bonus. That is simply not true. Most of the customer support team doesn’t. Also, I never knew how bonuses were calculated and never got more than 1.5 % (£400 pounds) of yearly bonus. - The office is located underground.
