Pros
Salary was ok. Remote work was a plus
Cons
The CEO initially will come off as a "likeable" guy. However, once you are strung in you will soon realize he is the very definition of what a "narcissist" is. I was an executive at the company. I was privy to just about everything that went on at every level. He has no respect for you as a person. He will literally tear you down whenever he sees fit. I have seen first hand the abuse and harassment that he projects on his employees, including myself who again was a very high up executive. I have seen him make grown men and women cry on public zoom calls in front of their subordinates. I have witnessed him tell people point blank on public zoom calls that they are worthless. It makes no difference what level employee you are, nobody deserves to be treated that way. When there are company events he will act as if he has never done any wrong and he is running this amazing company. The man is manipulative. I have engaged an attorney to explore legal action and the attorney told me that I 100% have a case. However, for now I have decided not to directly pursue this path and let the company fall apart naturally. Im hoping you as the reader of this post think very hard before pursuing a career in this company and with this CEO. Ask questions like "what is the average length of employment for an employee?" Ask about his employee retention record in his previous company "Eastern Union." Now as far as the company and work goes, this company is all over the map and has zero direction. One minute they are a data company, the next they are cheap brokerage and now they are basically a regular broker but have cheaper options. Just think about this for a minute. The CEO left Eastern Union to start this "amazing" new idea. Yet it ends up a regular brokerage just like Eastern Union is but just cheaper. That makes no sense. I am telling you as an executive it is a failed company. It was never suppose to be this. If it was he would have never left Eastern Union Another tip to see how out of hand this company is. Go look at their google reviews. Majority of the reviews are from employees saying how good of a company this is. I will tell you for a fact that most of those reviews are from summer interns who didn't know any better and were asked to do so. In some instances they wrote reviews about actually working there which honestly makes no sense. But in most cases they just posed as clients pretended to like the marketplace or the team etc. Most of the reviews are fake because they had to bury some bad reviews about the company and the CEO which they somehow got removed. I am honestly leaving this review here to help whomever is reading this make the right decision. If after reading all of this you feel you want to still work for them thats fine. Good luck. Really think hard before you take a job here.
