Pros

Flexible working hours are good theoretically but we were frequently pushed to overwork ourselves upwards of 50hrs a week at times. Remote working is good.

Cons

The manager was very dismissive and bullying at times, not understanding that people were on the verge of a breakdown. Several people left all at once because of the manager's bad approach and then those who were left were overworked. I think the manager has some prejudice as well and wouldn't take people's concern's seriously. Many people were scared of speaking up for fear of being treated badly and getting shouted at. I don't want to use such a strong word beginning with "R" but I believe despite the diversity of the founders, the management is lacking in diversity and they don't deal with staff well with equality in mind - the people who were treated the worst happened to be minorities.

Disconnected Management, lack of growth and reviews, and lack of professional language in meetings from certain managers.
