Pros
I worked in Gspann for around 2.5years. Though I started after a gap, this Organization provided me excellent platform to start again. I worked in Production Support and my Assistant Director was extremely Supportive and Humane. He really is a visionary leader. Gspann is a rare organization when it comes to Great leadership and excellent compensation. Yearly salary hike is better than peer Organizations. Here individuals have plethora of access, be it database or servers. This provides excellent exposure to learn while working in prod environment. When I was working here, Gspann lost its most premium client that accounted to more than 35% of its income. Still I didn't see a single layoff for a very long time, rather utmost care was taken to align people to other projects. For a comparatively smaller company that had around 1200 odd staff, it was extremely difficult to sustain some 400 people sitting on bench, still Gspann sailed silently.
Cons
There is some dependency on a few individuals. Peer to peer knowledge sharing needs to be improved.
