Pros
- You get to play video games - Workmates are very helpful - HR is helpful
Cons
- Pay is not that high, company refuses to raise the base pay of lower ranking employees as a means to "inspire" them to work harder despite the inflation and rise in prices - Managers do not actually know how to manage. They hire people who know Japanese and English in lieu of actual people that know how to deal with a team - Communication between managers is spotty. You will be drafted into projects with NO communication whatsoever, and sometimes when informing managers of things they do not reply at ALL. It takes them HOURS, sometimes DAYS to reply. - Managers do not remember anything you inform them of. They then accuse you of not informing them in advance when really, you've told them many times. - Managers REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE their mistakes. A good leader should acknowledge their mistakes, but they don't. They put the blame on the writers for their shortcomings. - Managers will notice a loud employee, and not a silent one. Doesn't matter if what you're doing is big or little, the louder the employee, the more likely you'll be promoted. - Managers are unprofessional when addressing employees, and the lack of communication skills really drives this point.
