Strategy team members were turned into writers in an attempt to boost output - management is purely reactive and has no plan for the future beyond chasing whatever trend is pulling traffic at that moment in time. Everyone who works here is nothing more than a number to management, and people are judged solely on how much they write, edit, and how much traffic they pull in. When the AI job blew up in their faces, they simply outsourced cheap Serbian labour to write all the database articles they wanted.
