All the cons outweigh any pros

The COO/President Casey Homes, micromanages every person in the company and has his hands everywhere. He constantly overstepped other managers and dealt directly with Jr roles like myself. I got hired for 20 hours a week but they started maxing me out to 39 hours. But no full time benefits. At my 90 day review I arrived to find no one there to interview me. After a few more months I finally was able to get a review. Because I was working full time and double the hours I signed up for. I professionally asked if I could negotiate for a raise. Casey, THE PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY, personally fired me, a Jr Role. He said I was “Disloyal” for asking about negotiating for a raise. The employees are overworked and underpaid.

Pros

Gargle is easily best work environment I have ever been a part of. The leadership team and management are so accommodating and genuinely care about their employees. Everyone there is so positive and helpful!

Only con is that I didn't apply here sooner!

Pros

I started at this company as a part-time content writer, and they've been taking care of me ever since. When my wife and I had our baby, they gave me a great parental leave plan with WFH when I needed it, which helped us a TON. When I let my manager know I was looking for full-time employment, they not only found me a position, but they found a spot that played to my strengths. It's a company that treats you as a person first, employee second, and I've always appreciated that. If you are looking for a job that you'll want to stay at for a long time, Gargle is a great choice.
