Pros

1. The ability to work remotely provides flexibility. 2. Some interesting projects and potential learning opportunities when they arise.

Cons

Severe Funding Issues: The founder continues to hire new employees despite an apparent lack of funding. This has led to significant delays in salary payments, with existing employees waiting 2-3 months to be paid. Lack of Communication: The remote nature of the job exacerbates the communication issues. There is minimal interaction between different teams, which affects the workflow and overall team cohesion. Unfulfilled Salary Commitments: The company consistently fails to meet its payroll obligations. Employees are often left uncompensated for months, which is not only frustrating but also financially straining. Unreasonable Expectations and Threats: Despite the delays in payments, there is a high expectation to meet project deadlines. Failure to do so results in threats of legal action from management, which creates a stressful and hostile work environment.

Pros

• As a UX intern, I was given real responsibility from day one. I contributed to wireframes, user flows, and even helped run usability tests for live products. • The design team was small but very collaborative, and I got frequent feedback that helped me grow quickly. • Weekly design critiques were constructive and created a strong learning environment. • Access to the product team gave me a better understanding of how UX fits into larger business goals. • Flexible hours and a remote-friendly culture were a huge plus.

Cons

As with most startups, things move fast!

Pros

You can pitch in your ideas and use an informal tone of communication with seniors to discuss ideas.

Cons

Many mismanaged projects and a lot of last-minute work are assigned—Biasness towards employees and no communication from the management. Bad work-life balance, even weekends are weekdays. Sometimes made to finish whole projects in a night. No professionalism is shown by the upper management, and no coordination between them. Very low growth scope as well, and no mentoring or learning from the seniors unless they are biased towards you.
