Some reviews show a negative work environment. That may have been true in the past, but I see the company taking active steps to combat this and create a positive, dynamic, collaborative and supportive work environment. It seems all managers receive some training on management skills, one on ones are the norm, employees get feedback beyond just annual reviews, and there is a big push to adhere to agency values and encourage collaboration, personal/professional development, and being the best because we have top talent who are passionate about the work they do. When you are at Gatesman, you really do feel like you are part of something! There is a strong energy here. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of the business and participate in new business/organic growth. Upper management continually keeps afloat of industry trends and adapts. This helps not only the company but the employees who need to have new skills in a digital environment. Values everyone's opinions, no matter how junior.

Advertising is a competitive environment and sometimes it can feel like teams are competing against each other. However, a positive attitude among individual employees can help combat this and it seems like company is taking steps to combat this as well- we are looking out for the client in mind.
