Pros
Free lunches/breakfasts when in the office (although work is currently entirely remote due to pandemic). Fairly decent health benefits. Some cool teammates. Some paid full-time internships.
Cons
EXTREMELY low pay compared to industry standards (in addition, no raises or bonuses have been given out to team members in over 2 years). Everyone I knew at the company was overworked and overwhelmed — extremely unhealthy work/life balance, and no overtime pay offered. Managers segment team members off from each other so that everything is kept on a need-to-know basis, and team members are treated more like assistants who are not fully trusted to do their jobs. All decisions come from the top down — oftentimes, decisions about the team's workflow are made by managers, who do not understand the workflow and do not take into account team members' input. The company is constantly cutting corners to save a buck and telling employees they're doing amazing and shattering profit goals... yet they still can't seem to afford to pay their employees well or offer any raises/bonuses. Instead of offering opportunities for growth, the company has developed a trend of overworking and underpaying employees until they either quit or are fired — they then hire someone new for the same base salary, and the cycle repeats itself. Some managers are alright depending on what team you're part of, but some are extremely controlling and do not shy away from shaming team members in front of others.
