Pros

Work with some great brands Great work experience if you can somehow bear working at this place

Cons

Managers are terrible Leadership team is horrible Work/life balance is non-existent Expect to work on the weekends and beyond normal business hours; that’s just a given Low pay Little to no actual appreciation of employees Strong focus on employees’ weaknesses without acknowledgement nor awareness of their strengths Water cooler gossip and snake managers If you’re considering this place I strongly suggest you take your talents elsewhere As a client, I wouldn’t do business with them if I knew what the company is really like

Hello, We take this feedback very seriously and have made feedback such as this the center of our focus for the remainder of 2020. One of the ways in which we are taking this feedback to heart is by implementing training for our management and leadership. These are skills that must be continuously developed and the goal is to up-skill the amazing talent we already have! It is our responsibility to grow our team in ways that not only support them at GeistM, but also as they grow in their careers. We appreciate the candid feedback. We always have and always will continue to cultivate our talent in ways that make them feel valued and supported.

Pros

There is a steep learning curve and it's a great place to get a really deep and wide experience of all things performance, growth, whitelisting etc.

Cons

Still scrappy start up style, which can be good and bad

Pros

The culture at GeistM is genuinely collaborative. People help each other, celebrate wins, and make the workday enjoyable. Management recognizes good performance and is good about giving clear feedback. I also appreciated the mix of autonomy and support, I never felt micromanaged, but I knew help was there if I needed it. Working with wellknown clients was a big plus and made the work feel meaningful.

Cons

Some weeks can be busier than others, especially around major client pushes, but it’s manageable with good communication.
