Terrible company - XL Delivery Driver Gemini Logistics Employee Review

For the first few months I enjoyed the job. You get to work on your own, nobody breathing down your neck, easy rural routes.

Once Amazon starts to see that you’re doing well, they begin to screw you over and use you week after week on 150+ stops local routes with both homes and apartments. The system for assigning routes at Amazon is so messed up, they will burn you out! Let’s just say I’ve seen SO many drivers come and go during the 8 months that I’ve been working there. I’ve lasted longer than you average driver can stand working there. If you’re looking to build a decent small savings then go for it, but if you’re looking for long term employment I’d look into a trade job somewhere else!

There wasn't really any benefit of working here, except getting paid on time.

No work/life balance. Terrible benefits. No holidays. Owner and management expect you to be available 7 days per week. Owner does nothing to monitor how management treats people. Unless something is in writing don't expect the owner to do what he says. He always takes the managers' side and does not look into anything. Managers assign hours based off who they "like" best. The managers are referred to as the "Mean Girl Club". they are horribly condescending and rude if you are not one of their favorites. In general working for this company was a terrible experience.
