Pros
Extensive training, ample chances to understand intricate fund structures, competitive compensation for newcomers, and a favorable hybrid work schedule
Cons
In my experience at Gen II, I've noticed a pervasive sense of aggression among colleagues. It's unclear whether this stems from managerial stress or if the company tends to hire individuals with confrontational attitudes. In my few months here, I've encountered aggressive behavior from a QC principal, an IT colleague, and received passive-aggressive treatment from someone in the training camp. This leads me to question if this is ingrained in the company culture, possibly originating from higher-ups. Our principal's relentless pursuit of perfection neglects the acknowledgment of our human nature. The emphasis on accuracy overshadows any focus on team building or social values. Consequently, I don't feel safe, as there's a consistent undercurrent of threat in various interactions.
