Pros

None that I could feel after joining the team.

Cons

- Really bad product idea. It was presented as next best thing. - Make you feel worthless to get more work out of you - Make you do things you didn't signed up for. - Bad engineering decisions enforced, preventing you to do proper implementation. - Engineering management doesn't have a clue of engineering principles - Company living off govt grants - Dependency on single company for any revenue what so ever and some independent customers who really don't need this product. - Pay promised vs actual pay can be different based on how many dependents you have. Person is single, I think X$ is enough for him - CEO to the recruiter.

Pros

- Office is at WeWork in Santa Monica

Cons

- Parking not included, so prepare to spend an additional $250-300 per month - All leads are inbound, yet the leads aren't qualified and not enough to make quota, no one makes 100% quota --> Ask what the closing percentage is (~20%) then the total number of leads per sales rep per month... it won't equal the quota :( - Online scheduling is a feature based space, yet Genbook is significantly behind the tons of competitors out there, so you lose a lot of business - Genbook is more expensive than 95% of the competition, so without all the features, no sales person can overcome those obstacles - Base salary is considerably lower than any other tech company in the area - Main office is in Sydney, so any issues that need to be resolved take way too much time, which means you end up losing business. Not only that but communication is broken and management of the sales team is done by someone 5,000 miles away - Disconnect between the teams at the front lines and Sydney, so unnecessary product features are created by the product team that make no sense - They dont treat their employees very well. Re-neg on agreements they make and break promises of upward mobility and commission, very sketchy
