Pros

9/80 work schedule, 401K, grateful to have an income

Cons

Management favors former military who think they’re still in the military. Lack of flow down information across the board. Favoritism, processes and policies that continuously change without company wide notification. Just a mess of a company with high turnover. People come here for ‘job security’ because GA has never had a major layoff. The trade off is low pay and archaic processes. It’s definitely a ‘good old boys’ culture where one gets ahead by kissing up to management.

We appreciate the 8+ years you’ve spent with us, and we’re glad to know that you’re happy with your flexible schedule, your retirement benefits and your job security – all of which are very important to us, too. While we’re obviously disappointed to hear your views on our culture, our management teams do, in fact, grow and change. As do our processes. But it takes time when an organization grows as quickly as we’ve been growing, and so we appreciate your efforts to push us.

Pros

Knowledgeable engineers and technicians, great learning opportunities, good training

Cons

Not so much of a CON, but you get thrown into the fire as soon as you're hired. Very fast paced.

Pros

9/80 work schedule. Benefits are decent. One of the few comapnies that offer a pension in addition to 401k.

Cons

Too many management layers. Promotions seem to be based on who you know, and if you fit into the right "clique". Some promotions are being given to managers with no experience in the function. Executuve leadership appears out of touch with their employees. Example - Chaotic games have been played the last 3 years with remote and hybrid work policies.
