Pros
Better than average benefits. Good people to work with. Focused on its primary market. Better In many ways than its predecessor Motorola.
Cons
Too narrow. Too top heavy. Excess overhead expenses. Rigid, empire building management. Good at small projects, poor at large scale systems efforts. Doesn't really look to long term. Management wants quick returns rather than investing for long haul. People increasingly viewed as disposable liabilities rather than valued for experience. Each section of company is quasi-independent fiefdom. Little cross pollination and no attempt to balance overall needs of company.
